Raise your hand if you love cheese! Welcome to the club. I love all things cheese. They go well with wine, fruits, appetizers, and even midnight snacks. But, not all cheeses are the same, so I was looking forward to Cheese Brothers sending me some samples of their Wisconsin cheeses to try out and review..
Cheese Brothers has a great origin story. The company was co-founded by Eric Lundy and Gene Graf who are not brothers by birth but share an equal passion for cheese ever since Eric’s dad taught them both the trade at an early age. Plus, it’s such a cool name.
I was excited to get my package. It arrived quickly. I received the “THE BEST GIFTS ARE CHEESY” holiday gift pack which contained the following:
- Four 6 oz. blocks of Wisconsin-made cheese (Smoked Gouda, Dill Havarti, 3 Amigos Spicy Gouda, Fratello)
- One 8 oz. jar of Cherry Lavender Jam from Bushel and Peck of Beloit, WI
- One 5.5 oz salami from Gastros Craft Meats.
The cheese and salami were in an insulated bag with an ice pack to keep it fresh. The jam was in the box you see above.
I have to be totally honest that I almost opened them all to try right away but, then I remembered that I had to take pictures first to include in my review….lol.
EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS @ CHEESE BROTHERS!
I loved all of the cheeses. My daughter wanted me to wait until she came from California for Thanksgiving but, I couldn’t wait that long to try them out. Every time I opened the fridge they were tempting me. I did save her some. The El Diablo – Scorpian Pepper Guoda was my absolute favorite which isn’t surprising since I’m Puerto Rican and spicy is life however, all of the cheeses were DIVINE!
I can’t forget the Cherry Lavender Jam. It was delicious on crackers and on bread. I have to be completely honest though, sometimes I just take a spoonful or two straight to the mouth just because it really is that good.
The salami is equally delish! You can’t go wrong with these gift packs for the holidays as a gift, for parties, or even just to treat yourself.

If you want to send a larger gift pack then this ‘Best Gifts Are Cheesy” pack is best. Though I haven’t tasted the other cheeses, I’m going to go ahead and say you can’t go wrong. I’m eyeing that “3 Amigos” cheese myself.

DELIVERY DETAILS
I want to include delivery details since we are in the holiday season. You can read their complete shipping details here but, the gist is that they ship items 2-day using the delivery service that works with your area. For warm locations: Orders to locations above 60 degrees made after noon Central Time on Wednesday will be shipped Monday of the following week to avoid getting stuck over the weekend. Orders to locations under 60 degrees will be shipped Monday – Friday.
