Describe your music for those who have never heard it.
My music is a mixture of smooth and soulful vocals over a blended style of throwback and current R&B, Pop, and Soul fused tracks. it contains heartfelt melodies with simple and relatable lyrics.
Tell us about your new single “Blu”.
“Blu” is that feeling you get when you have been played by someone you fell for. In this song, you want to get through it and survive it, but you also feel hurt. Trying to survive the heartbreak by swimming through it.
What inspired you to pursue music?
I loved and admired the greats growing up but when I got the chance to perform and experience how it makes people feel and how it unites people I was all in.
What has been your greatest career accomplishment so far?
I have gotten so many special moments in my career that are landmarks to me and they each are incredibly different. I can’t forget hearing my song on the radio for the first time, winning my first award, being featured in papers and TV, and so many more. I think everything that celebrates what I do is an accomplishment of equal value to me.
What has been the biggest challenge so far in your career?
I think my biggest challenge has been getting out of my own head and accepting myself for who I am. Owning my individuality!
What is your music goal for the rest of the year?
My goal for the rest of the year is to continue on my journey to release great content and keep growing what I do!
