Describe your music for those who have never heard it.
My music is best described as Middleism. A slight dose of gangsta rap with reality. Coming from Oklahoma which is in the middle of the United States is the reason I call it middleism.
Tell us about this song.
The Song Real Sh!t describes my reality of what’s REAL from a Grown Man’s perspective.. No kiddy stuff.
What inspired you to pursue music?
I was a battle rapper in High School and folks would gather around like it was a fight. I knew I could entertain and give music a shot and here I am 30 years later still conducting interviews through the grace of God.
Greatest career accomplishment so far?
My greatest career accomplishment is the Lifetime Achievement Award I received from Source Magazine.
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge is getting my music out to the masses. I’m an independent artist. So sometimes without the big machine behind you it can be difficult touching everybody.
What is your music goal for the year?
Completing my webisode series and releasing my album in 2020.
