I’m in the process of looking for plugin chandeliers for my living room and my bedroom. Of course, I’d love a crystal chandelier because I’m over the top. I took over the lease of this apartment and while I love it, I realized that there are no lights in the center ceiling. I was told that a lot of old apartment buildings rely on lamps and when they are remodeled to look more modern they don’t bother re-wiring the electrical to add lights to the rooms.
While watching a home improvement show I watched the host move a crystal chandelier from the dining room and put it in the newly created baby room. It looked stunning and led me down the rabbit hole in search of plugin chandeliers. I’ve narrowed it down to these five choices so, maybe you guys can help me pick the perfect ones. Remember I need two. One for my living room and one for my bedroom. I’ll do a follow-up post once I choose two and install them so you can see what they look like and how easy or difficult it was to install them and keep them up.
Swag Light
This swag light plugin chandelier was the first one I saw and thought to get. It’s very basic and standard and would look good in any of the rooms in my apartment. The price is right and I’ll get the amount of light needed in the room.
Pendant Chandelier
This pendant chandelier fits my over the top personality. I originally was considering this one for the living room but, now I think I want to use it in my bedroom and give it a regal and sexy look. How often do you walk into a bedroom and see a crystal chandelier?
Gypsy Black Chandelier
This black gypsy chandelier is similar to the crystal clear pendant one above but, the black gives it a completely different vibe. I thought about a black chandelier in the living room because of the black accents and matches the television stand and the coffee and end tables.
Antique Glass Chandelier
This antique glass chandelier if old school sexy to me. I think it will have a gorgeous ambiance in the room. I also love that it has a remote control. This is another one I was thinking of having in my bedroom. It’s so hard to decide.
Vintage Pendant Light
This vintage pendant light is very different from the other ones. It’s very artsy and unique. If I opted for this style I might put them across two walls just to make sure I have enough light.
What do you think of these chandeliers? If you’re looking for a plugin chandelier, I hope these suggestions are helpful.
