Fitness Corner: Cynergy Fitness Resistance Bands (Video Review)

I’m really excited about the direction my blog will be taking in the new year. It’s not going to be completely revamped but, it will be focusing on different categories throughout the week to give it a more rounded feel. I’m also going to up my video reviews. I’ve ordered a tripod and everything so I can’t wait.
One of the categories that I’m going to be focusing more on is fitness. There are a lot of options out there and I want to bring you guys as many of them as I can.

I’ve been wanting to try resistance bands for a long time but, I’ve always been hesitant to join a class because everyone seems to know what they’re doing and I would just feel awkward so, I was really  happy to receive these Cynergy Fitness Resistance Bands.

When I got the bag, I was a bit intimidated because there are 5 bands and some other pieces but, it was so easy to figure out. Each band is a different weight of resistance: 2-4 lbs. (Yellow), 4-6 lbs.(Green), 10-12 lbs. (Red), 15-20 lbs. (Blue), 20-30 lbs (Black).

You can also stack the bands together to ultimately form 75lbs of resistance. It’s going to take me some time to get there.

The hand grips snap in and out very easily and are very well made. These bad boys will last a while.
I love that they’re not heavy or bulky like regular weights. The bands come in a nice little bag that you can easily store in a closet or dresser drawer. You can throw them in a suitcase and take them with you on a business trip or vacation to get a nice workout.
They also come with a booklet that shows different exercises you can do which is great. It takes no effort for me to pull one out and get a quick workout in.
You can watch the video below to see me demonstrate a shoulder pull up exercise. I  used the red 10 – 12lb resistance band and it was a bit of a teeny struggle since I haven’t been to the gym in a while.

I’ve priced out weights for the home and right now they’re just not in my budget and I also don’t have room for them. At $29.00 these are a perfect price point, they fit anywhere and I know I’ll get a nice full body workout. Also, I can grab them and take them with me if I need to so, I’m ready for those classes now.
