The Many Uses of Apothecary 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil (Review + Helpful Recipes)

There’s always a joke or two amongst my generation, especially us first generation Americans steeped in culture whose family comes from the Caribbean or Africa or were immigrants from places like Italy or Greece about growing up and there being one sole product that was the cure all for everything.

Chris Rock joked about ‘Tussin (Robitussin) being the solution to all your ailments from a cough to 105 degree fever from pneumonia. There was even a joke made in the movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” that alluded to that concept with the fact that her dad said Windex was the solution for every problem.
While using Windex as a cure all is a bit over the top and clearly hyperbole, the reality is that most people back in the day did indeed have multiple uses for one product.
But, it wasn’t a manufactured product, it was all natural like Apothecary 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil  which is why the solutions really worked and aren’t as unbelievable as you might think.
I received a 4 oz bottle of the Apothecary Tea Tree Oil for review and the first thing that caught my eye was that they said this bottle should last a full year. That’s fantastic because a bottle is only $24.99 so that breaks down to less than $1.70 a month. That works for me already.
The bottle also comes with a link to a free recipe ebook called “53 Uses for Tea Tree Oil”.  One particular recipe I’ll share because I know so many people that have children who suffer with Eczema.

Eczema Scrub Recipe
½ cup Sea salt, medium-coarse
1 tsp. lemon zest
10 drops Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil
1 sprig of Rosemary needles
½ lemon, juiced
Mix It: Place lemon zest, rosemary and salt in a food processor and pulse until
mixed but not pulverized. Place in small mixing bowl and mix in lemon juice and tea
tree oil with your fingers.
Now, I have to admit, when I agreed to review I thought it was just a beauty product to apply to my face so, in keeping with my original thought, that’s how I used it but, the recipe book is pretty amazing and pretty much knocks the ‘Tussin and Windex uses out of the box.
For the skin, it does suggest that you dilute it with another type of oil like olive or coconut. I chose olive and it really feels good and it also says not to apply it on broken skin so don’t get a facial (that leads to open pores) or for the men, don’t shave before applying and you should be fine.
I plan to try a few of the other recipes in time and I’m glad I got a bottle for review because I’ve recommended the product to others as I will do to you guys but, it’s pretty popular and sells out quickly.
You can purchase Apothecary 100% AustralianTea Tree Oil on Amazon.com for just $24.99 and it will last a full year + you’ll get the 53 Uses/Recipes Ebook Free.
