Review: Are Gold Plated HDMI Cables Worth It for Xbox, PS3 & More?

I recently received two(2) PREMIUM GOLD Plated HDMI Cables from Solid Cordz to test out and review.
I didn’t even have a chance to look at these cables when they arrived. My son grabbed them to use with his system right away. He creates YouTube video game recordings and uses all HDMI connections and he also uses them on his Xbox and PS3.
I would have been fine just trying them out on my HDMI television but, he insisted that the better option for a quality review was to let him try them on his set up. He was eager and very willing to test the cables out for me.
How could I resist? I want to write best review and he convinced me so, my job was to, basically, sit and wait to see what he thought and of course write a review based on that.
Well, I’m happy to say that he thought they were great and the picture was incredibly clear. The 6 foot length was perfect for him to connect the devices and also move them around without being constricted to a short cable.
They are good sturdy cables and were thicker than he expected which makes him feel confident that they’ll last a long time.

Now to answer the most important question, would I purchase these cables with my own money?
The answer is yes. My son said he felt that $35 for two 6 foot cables was a great value and that they exceeded his expectations. I trust his opinion since he’s always so incredibly technical about all the gadgets he uses to record and to play his games from the mechanical keyboard and mouse to the Gold Plated HDMI cables.
