Well, well, well, I received my Limited Edition One Direction Looks Makeup Collection Kit. Yay! I half expected it to be intercepted by one of their thousands of adoring fans who read, shared and tweeted my original blog posts introducing the makeup kits since they knew I was one of the lucky ones receiving it in advance to review.
But, alas, the package arrived safely and I hope that if you’re reading this and entered the contest to win one of your own kits that you were indeed one of the chosen winners.
If not, that’s okay. I’m going to give you a review of the kit and if you like what you read you can pick up one now at Macy’s or at Stage Stores, Dillards, Beauty Brands or Lord & Taylor starting August 25th and they’re only $29.99.
There are 3 (three) kits in the collection, Midnight Memories, Take Me Home and Up All Night.
All your beauty essentials are housed in a LIMITED EDITION collectable keepsake tin with removable sleeve, complete with ONE DIRECTION doodle stencils to decorate your keepsake tin and make it uniquely your own!
I received Up All Night for review but the quality and contents for all the kits are the same with the exception of the colors and hues of the makeup.
Before I show you everything in the kit I’ll give you my review.
What do I think of the Look Collection Kit and do I recommend it?
I think it’s a great kit for the One Direction demographic of fans. I like that the colors are bold but, subtle when applied.
It’s a fun kit that fans will really enjoy and it’s at a great price. They would make great birthday and holiday gifts so I’d say stock up now because they will sell out.
