I had the opportunity to attend an exclusive and intimate workout event for Moticise hosted by creater Sonia Satra. I was excited since I’m really trying to incorporate more fitness segments into my blog and also because reading up on the concept of the workout had me curious.
Sonia is an award-winning motivational speaker, life coach, triathlete, marathoner, and founder of the NYC-based Women’s Empowerment Adventures. She also an accomplished actress who starred in the soap operas ‘Guiding Light’ and ‘One Life To Live’
She credits all of her accomplishments with the fact that she envisioned herself in those roles and she’s hoping to empower people to reach and achieve their goals too with the fun, energetic and confidence building Moticise workout.
There was such an incredibly positive and infectious energy in in the room with her and the other fabulous women that just automatically put me in good spirits and ready to get moving.

Sonia took us through the workout which starts simply as envisioning where you want to be as we warmed our bodies up and worked up to picking specific goals as the cardio routine increased.
I did have to sit for a minute because….well, too much fun and party in the days prior to the workout…lol…but, I was soon up again as she guided us to punch through our barriers and kick away fear. I felt like Rocky and an MMA fighter at the same time.
I really did feel a ‘Mindset Reset’ (the title of the DVD) from going through the physical and mental workout which is something that Sonia speaks on states, ‘
“So many of our answers, our intuition, are locked in our body yet our mind overrides that with chatter, with negative beliefs,” says Satra. “By accessing that body intelligence, tuning into it with the mind, and getting stronger both mentally and physically, you become the highest, healthiest, best version of yourself.”

I was lucky enough to get a copy of her first Moticise ‘Mindset Reset’ DVD in my gift bag and will definitely be incorporating it into my workouts. It gave me the motivation to set small but, important goals and work on reaching them to move on to bigger goals.

If I can get in a full 40 minute workout daily, I can take another 40 minutes towards something I really want to do like write a book.
