Anime NYC Did It Again @ Jacob Javitz Center – Woot!

Anime NYC flew into Jacob Javits Center November 17 to November 19 like a superhero and did not disappoint. Thousands of anime fans poured in. Whether you were in regular clothes (like me) or in cosplay, ALL were welcome.

I’ve been coming to and covering  Anime NYC for 6  years since its inception in 2017 (it was canceled in 2020 during the pandemic) and though it’s grown and gotten bigger, the one thing that hasn’t changed is that it’s so welcoming to everyone.

There were exhibit, games and plenty of panels. There was something for everyone,

Crunchy roll even had a ‘club’ or dance floor.  Complete with DJ, games and plenty of selfie spots.

Crunchy Roll even had a lounge for attendees who paid for a VIP pass. They got a gift bag and a lounge to hang out, unwind and charge their phones. I was jealous since I was press and didn’t get that luxury…lol. It’s really nice that they do that.

If you’re thinking of going next year then, I recommend the VIP PASS because there is so much to see and sometimes you need a brea

The thing about Anime NYC is that you don’t have to even be an anime fan to have a good time. But, I can guarantee you will leave an anime fan.

This year was so much fun and bigger and better than the years before so, I’m looking forward to next year.

I’d just like to add that there were a lot of people dressed as One Piece. That show holds a lot of people’s hearts!

See you guys in 2024 at Anime NYC!

Here’s some more pics we took. Thank you to my photographer Walter Wilson:
