When it comes to mixed vodka drinks, a Greyhound is easily one of my favorites. Simply Vodka and grapefruit juice. So, imagine my surprise and delight when I learned there is a Seagram’s Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka. Would it be wrong to just stick a straw in the bottle and drink it as is? Of course it would be.
Instead I opted for a more civilized solution, to create a holiday drink using the grapefruit vodka. I have to say that on it’s own it has a really great flavor so, if you’re looking for a nice chilled martini, look no further than this new flavor. But, today we will make a great drink.
I wanted to create something that seemed in line with a Greyhound and since it’s the holidays and my name is Rain, I thought “What about a Reindeer drink?” Yes, my genius at work can’t be denied.
Reindeer Games w/
Seagram’s Ruby Red Vodka
I’ve said before that I’m not a mixologist so, I like to keep my drinks simple and tasty like this Reindeer Games drink. It’s simply :
- Seagram’s Red Ruby Grapefruit Vodka
- Coconut Water
- A Splash of Seltzer
- Pomegranates
The pomegranates make the drink look extra festive and I like to think that they represent Rudolph’s shining nose.
Seagram’s also has a new Apricot flavor which is just as good but, we’ll save that drink for another day.
I hope you like my Reindeer Games with Seagram’s Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka! Let me know what you think. Enjoy and please 21 years old and drink responsibly.
