R.W. Roldan hails from Topanga, California and describes his music as Americana Roots Rock/Alt-Country. The singer/songwriter is releasing his new single “Falling Star” on Friday, June 8 from his upcoming 4th album ” Can You Feel This” which is set to be released worldwide later this year. The stripped down single pairs his vocals with an acoustic guitar with complimentary female duet pairing during the chorus.

Describe your music for those who have never heard it.
Its Americana Roots Rock meets Alt-Country. Storytelling, hooks, Blues influence and hooky groove laden old country vibe at times, and a good bit of dark humor.
Tell us about your new single “Falling Star”.
Falling star is about a girl who had a dream but couldn’t overcome the reality of what it takes to get there.
What inspired you to pursue music?
It’s a part of my DNA, it’s like the smell of a good meal calling you to the table.
Greatest career accomplishment so far?
I’m releasing my 4th album and I continue to get worldwide airplay and acceptance for my songwriting, recording, and performances.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Establishing a career while raising a family and running a business to help support them.
What is your music goal for the year?
To get this new album of songs heard and enjoyed by as many people as possible.
