Up and coming indie rapper and producer, Jared Wesley hails from the music mecca known as Atlanta. His exposure to different genres from R&B, Soul, Pop and later hip-hop helped to inspire him to pursue music.
The talented emcees single “Zone 4 (Mu-Tha-F*cka)” which gives you a taste of life in the westside and southwest side of ATL has a steady buzz on SoundCloud so we sat down with Jared Wesley to get to know him and his artistry a bit better and to introduce him to our readers as part of our Music Spotlight series.

It’s a song about life growing up on the southside of ATL (Atlanta).
What inspired you to pursue music?
I just saw a void in the lack of creativity in the genre and thought I could fill it.
Greatest career accomplishment so far?
Over 100 singles sold marketed by myself.
What has been your biggest challenge?
No major label or artist co-sign makes the grind slower and more tedious.
What is your music goal for the year?
Just to pace myself and keep working.
