Brian McKnight is pretty touch and go with me. I absolutely love his voice but, sometimes his songs just come off a little too syrupy and try as I might to erase it from my mind I can’t forget his foray into the “less safe” realm of cookie cutter R&B with “Let Me Show You HowYour P*ssy Works”.

Well, he’s about to turn my mind around with his new album if it falls in line with his first single “uh oh feeling” on Kobalt Music.

This is classic R&B with a great vibe. His voice is magical as always and the song and melody are just right for the summer time. This is definitely one for the ladies and he’s got me curious and wanting more.

Hopefully, this will help swing R&B back into the direction of melody and lyrics instead of beats and repetition.
