I don’t know about you but, I desperately need a pair of headphones. I always need a new pair because the cheap ones I buy never last more than a week. Go figure.
I think it’s time for me to finally invest in a quality pair of headphones, especially since I’m always listening to music.
Or maybe I can just find one of these 1,000 pairs that Sennheiser has hidden around New York City for their “Find The Golden Ear” scavenger hunt that’s started on September 12th and will run through September 21st.
The scavenger hunt is to celebrate the launch of their Urbanite headphones which boast a great sound, deep bass, and urban style on the move.
If you’re in NYC you can even stop in to their store ‘The Ear Love Palace’ to check them out.
If you’re not in New York or can’t get to the city to search for a pair of URBANITES that’s okay because, Sennheiser is also running an Instagram giveaway. You can upload a Ear Selfie (Yes, your EAR ) for a chance to win a pair.

The Urbanites come in a variety of colors and are compatible with, what looks like, all smartphone devices. I’ll have to go check them out it person because they look pretty damn sleek.
But, before I do that I need to hit the streets to find a pair for myself.

The Scavenger Hunt Details:
Starting September 12th , 1,000 “Golden Ears” will be hidden around New York City on 11″x17″ posters hanging in record stores, restaurants, boutiques and other locations frequented by millennials.
Each poster contains a removable ‘ear’, which can be redeemed for a Sennheiser URBANITE headphone at the Ear Love Palace (location below). Participants can visit sennheiser-urbanite.com, and by sharing an URBANITE campaign video on Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr with hashtag #EarLove, can gain specific clues on the locations of the Golden Ears.
The scavenger hunt will take place between today and Sunday, September 21. As of today, Sennheiser’s Ear Love Palace will remain open between 12:00 noon and 9:00 pm daily, where music lovers can listen to ‘bass as it was meant to be’ with Sennheiser’s new URBANITE headphones, in a range of styles and colors.
