Atlanta hip hop artist Struc Supreme counts fellow rappers Outkast and T.I. as musical influences but, doesn’t stop there as he also mentions blues singer, Bobby “Blue” Bland and even R&B singer Bobby Brown bringing an eclectic mix to his sound.
As he makes his through the music industry as an indie artist ultimately hopes to reach major success and have an equal influence those that come after him.

We had a chance to interview Struc Supreme as part of our indie spotlight series where he shared his influences, accomplishments and ultimate career goals.

Describe your music for those who have never heard it.
The music of Struc Supreme brings a mix of old Atlanta with new Atlanta. Quality street music infused with dope lyrics and heavy bass lines. Upbeat, catchy hooks, and a creatively original sound.
What inspired you to pursue music?
For me music is a lifestyle. Music is the soundtrack of my life. The essence of music is what inspires me to do what I do. Music can change moods. Music and change lives. Music can inspire someone to be different.
What has be your greatest career accomplishment?
Greatest career accomplishment thus far would be featured in several magazines for my music such as Beats n Lyrics Magazine and Face2Face Magazine just to name a few. Also I performed at Birthday Bash Indie Stage for Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 which was a goal since I saw T.I. on stage 10 years ago. Next year I plan to be on the major stage.
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge in the music industry is breaking through from an indie artist to a major artist. I know my day is coming but you have to hustle nonstop to reach the top. It is a 24/7 grind and only the strong survive.
Who is your favorite artist?
My favorite group/act is definitely Outkast and has been since day one. Always will be! The reason why they are my favorite is because they were underdogs in the game. However, for every door that was closed another door opened and made their way to the top. Not to mention they have made timeless music for their fans.
What are your music career goals?
My music career goals are to make several hits on the charts, to receive several awards, and be recognized as a top-rated artist, songwriter, and performer. Another career goal is to make a way for the artist after me like the great ones did before me.
