Author Spotlight:Begotten Son: The Plan of the Italian Merchant by Danny D.

When it comes to children people always have the best intentions and want the best for them. Italian merchant Robert Agnoli from Danny Darren’s new book “Begotten Son”is no different.

After his wife dies at childbirth he vows to protect his son and an orphan girl that he adopts and give them the best that life has to offer.

The story set just after World War II in Italy and London takes the reader through twists, turns, secrets and lies as Robert’s plans for security and happiness for his family unravel.
We had a chance to talk to author Danny D about “Begotten Son” and his upcoming projects as part of our Author Spotlight series.

What inspired you to become a writer?
Writing is a passion and most things have been done before. I truly wanted a unique story that was a combination of genres. I feel that this book has something for everyone, intrigue, suspense, crime and to a certain extent romance.
Who is your favourite author?
Brazilian author, Paulo Coelho.
After reading The Alchemist I fell in love with not only the book and the story but with Paulo Coelho the man the Author his spirituality. I continued to read many more books by him. I found that every book he writes has not only a story but messages for life.
Describe your new book Begotten Son:
In order to receive their father’s inheritance, two siblings must search the globe to find their doppelgänger. This is easier said than done and complications arise when the siblings develop new feelings for each other.
Have you written any other books?
Begotten Son is my first book and I am currently writing another book which I hope to release in 2015. 
What are the last three books you read?
I haven’t read any books for ages because I am working on my new book and I’ve also been writing and developing two scripts for feature film.
