What are the last 3 books you read?

A Dream Fulfilled: Memoirs of an African Diplomat by Thandi Lujabe Rankoe
I loved this book because this phenomenal woman was exiled from her beloved homeland for 33 years due to taking a stand against apartheid. She is now the Ambassador to South Africa.

Two Nations One Vision by Thandi Lujabe Rankoe
I love Ambassador Thandi’s work because she teaches so much about the continent of Africa that is unknown or misunderstood by many here in the west. The book is about the relationship with South Africa and Mozambique.
The Prophecy by Dawn Miller
Dawn is an extraordinary writer and because I love any dealing with prophecy, biblical prophecy particularly, this book offered just what I was looking for.

What inspired you to become a writer?
I was called from birth to write. Conveying messages was something that I believe God placed in me at conception. I wrote my first book of poetry at age seven. It was seventy pages written in a composition book.
I wrote my first short story at age twelve and although neither was ever published, it proved that I had the ability to write and tell a story.
Who is your favorite author?
My favorite author is Maya Angelou. One, because she was a strong voice for all people not just African Americans.  Secondly, her writing style is very unique. I read her memoir, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” when I was in elementary school.
