The 2014 Met Gala Ball came and went in NYC. We ooh’d, aww’d and cringed at the outfits worn and then went about our business to the next thing.
That is until this week when the gala was brought back into the spotlight by the elevator incident which had Jay-Z and his sister-in-law Solange getting their high couture Street Fighter on.
While everyone was focused on Solange kicking with the strength of Dhalsim and Jay blocking like only Ryu could, my mind was on one thing, ‘What about the fashion!?!?!’
Thank you, Vogue for hearing my song cry and releasing the Met Gala Special Edition issue with Rihanna and Beyonce on the cover.
