Problem is, I don’t really have anything cute & purple in my wardrobe or accessories.
Ladies, you know what happened next, right? Yep. I started online window shopping for the perfect purple finds.
Instead of just favoriting the items and placing them in a bookmarked folder I’d wind up forgetting about I decided to share them with you. Consider this my blog post placeholder.
Some of the pieces defintely go together but, I’d probably wear one of the pieces each day for 5 days and make it Purple Reign for the whole week!

The Dress
I love maxi dresses. I could spend all my days wearing them. They look so elegant and flowing and are perfect for any occassion.
And this may sound silly but, I always feel taller when I’m wearing one. Hey, I’m 5’4″ so I need every bit of believability in my mind that I appear tall(er). Whatever works, right? And this dress definitely works.

The Sweater
It’s not really that warm out here yet, although it was 70 degrees here in NYC. I still like to carry around a sweater because it gets chilly pretty quickly.

I like simple pumps in solid colors. Every now and then I’ll go crazy and get some multi-color shoes but, for the most part I stick with classics that I can walk comfortably in.

This is a combination of Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘Diamonds & Pearls’ songs minus the diamonds.
It’s really a beatiful piece of jewelry and I’m a June baby so pearls are my birthstone.
