Throwback Thursday: Glenn Lewis – Don’t You Forget It {Live Performance + Photos}

Do you remember Glenn Lewis?

This post is actually a throwback within a throwback.

See, back in October 2013 I was lucky enough to attend his album release party for his new album “Moment of Truth”.

The new album was 11 years in the making with his first album “World Outside My Window” having been released way back in 2002.

After his first album Lewis worked on his sophomore album “Back for More” which should have been released in 2004.

He even released the first single which was also titled “Back For More” and featured Kardinal Offishall but, the album was ultimately shelved and he was dropped from Sony.

Glenn stayed busy through the years and eventually signed to Ruffhouse Entertainment.

Here’s Glenn performing his throwback hit “Don’t You Forget It” at the “Moment of Truth” album release party.

The video is grainy but the voice is absolutely amazing.

and while you’re here take a listen to “Closer” which is off his current album “Moment of Truth” and available on Itunes:
