New Jersey Lottery helps Bring in the Holiday Season – #ad #holidayseason #holidaygiftGuide @NJLottery @arainofthought

This post was sponsored by NJ Lottery. All opinions are my own.

My favorite part of the holiday season is finding creative, fun and inexpensive ways to gift someone with something that is personal and took some time and consideration.

That’s why I always love working with New Jersey Lottery on their holiday campaigns. I’m really happy that I get to work with them once again.

A couple of years ago, NJ Lottery tasks us with creating a different craft that we’d gift a family member, acquaintance or co-worker for the holiday season. It was so much fun that I was super excited when they asked me to participate again.. These are sample posts from 2015   and here’s a sleigh I made with scratch-offs in 2016.

This year, New Jersey Lottery is introducing 4 new Holiday Scratch-Off Games ($1 Holiday Luck, $2 Holiday Lucky Times 10, $5 Holiday Lucky Bonus, and $10 Winter Wishes).

My daughter is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner so, I thought it would be great for me to create a small “Lucky to have you in my life” NJ Lottery Gifts bag for each guest with the adult guests getting scratch-offs from New Jersey Lottery for the ‘lucky’ part.

Everything in this photo is under $10 with the exception of the scratch-offs which I was given complimentary to create this post.

THE CREATION

I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I initially wanted to do an NJ Lottery Holiday Scratch-Offs post that would be a centerpiece with candles, but it seemed like a lot of work and time and too much manipulation of the scratch-off cards.

I decided that gift bags AFTER Thanksgiving dinner made the most sense.

Very inexpensive and everyone loves the possibility of winning something

How Much Should You Spend?

It depends on your budget. As I mentioned above, all of the crafts collectively cost $10. I’d recommend you get scratch-offs from $3 – $10 with additional things in the bag depending on your budget. You can go lower or much higher, but it’s meant to be a ‘token’ departing gift.

The scratch -offs in these pics are the 4 new Holiday Scratch-Off Games that I mentioned above so you can see they are quite festive

Where Can Buy My Tickets?

Tickets are available at any brick and mortar Lottery retailer. Feel free to mention the store name (i.e 7-11, Quick Check, Wawa, etc). I usually get my scratch-offs from 7-Eleven or the grocery store by my house since those are places I frequent often, it’s easy to redeem tickets that are winners

Million Dollar Replay

One more thing I’d like to mention. If their scratch-off gifts aren’t winners there’s still another chance to win some cash with Million Dollar Replay. You can enter the scratch-offs that didn’t win for a second chance to win cash. Visit the site for details and good luck!

Disclaimer: You must be 18 or older to buy a lottery ticket. The New Jersey Lottery reminds players, it’s only a game…remember to play responsibly. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1800-GAMBLER®.
