Boxy Charm September 2020 Unboxing – #BoxyGlamping #BoxyCharm @boxycharm

One of my goals for 2020 was to get a little more into makeup and learn how to apply makeup through makeup tutorials online. I’d planned to head to makeup stores like Sephora and Morphe to purchase kits and even take some classes. I know Morphe was offering classes.

However, the pandemic stopped those and many other plans. I decided to instead look into beauty delivery kits and after much research decided on BoxyCharm.

About Boxy Charm

Boxy Charm is a monthly subscription service. The month-to-month charge is $25. With tax, my box came to $26.66. You get full-sized products in each box. They don’t offer the option to ‘Skip a month’. If you don’t want to receive a box the next month for any reason (most of us it’s because it doesn’t fit in our budget that month), then you have to completely cancel your subscription. However, you can re-instate your subscription at any time.

I ordered the August 2020 box but I didn’t receive it. I received a notice that it had been delivered to my apartment, but it was nowhere to be found. I emailed BoxyCharm and they said that they would send me out a new August Box.

In the meantime, I was charged for the September 2020 box and it was on it’s way. I received it and whew hoo! was I pleased.

These are all items that I’d like to try yet would never think to purchase individually at a store so it was nice to get a curated box of things to try.

I’m going to list everything I received in the September box. I think I’ll do a video review when I received the October 2020 box, if I have time.

Before they send your box they give you the option to personally pick one of the items you will be receiving. I’m waiting for that option for the October 2020 box.

Oh yeah, and they did resend the August box and I received it and love everything inside of it.

Now let’s look at what I received in my September 2020 Box:

Total in Box: $128 PAID: $25

Glam in Paradise Cannabis Sativa 3-pc mask set – $18

This is one of those items that I’d love to try, but would probably never pull the trigger to buy in a beauty store which is why I love that they sent it to me.

Farmacy – CHEER UP brightening vitamin C eye cream with acerola cherry – $45

This is another item I would want to try, but would not pull the trigger to buy a store especially because of the price so I was happy to receive it. It smells like cherry and feels amazing and cool on my skin. It’s too early to see the results

Description:
A super-hydrating, vitamin C-rich eye cream that brightens and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. Delivers instant radiance to the eye area! Clean, fragrance-free formula.

Lavido – Nurturing Hand Cream – Patchouli – $14

This was the first thing I opened and started using out of the box. It smells so amazing and feels so good on my hands. I’ll probably order this just because it’s so amazing on my skin.

Description:

Don’t forget to nourish the delicate skin on your hands. An area prone to environmental damage, this hand cream in the sweet, earthy scent of Patchouli and Vanilla is rich in Organic Shea Butter and plant-based Hyaluronic Acid helping to soothe, soften and protect hands from environmental damage, dryness and chafing.

BLINC – Evening Glamour Palette LIMITED EDITION – $26

I love these colors. I can’t wait to watch some tutorials and use these colors on my lids to look sexy in my house…lol.

Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Eyeshadow – $25

These are such great colors. I haven’t tried them on my eyes yet. Like I said, I’m going to do tutorials.

Description:
A dual-ended liquid shadow combining a velvety matte formula on one side and a highly reflective metallic on the other.

Overall, I’m happy with this box. It was a nice sample of everything and I feel like they got my color tones right. I’ll be trying these products and am looking forward to see what they send in the October 2020 box.

Until then, you can subscribe to get your first BoxyCharm here.
