Indie hip hop artist Chad Rico hails from Los Angeles and has a successful career as a college math professor. He’s working to shift that success to his budding rap career with the release of his new album, “The Myth”.
We chatted with Chad Rico for our music spotlight series. He shared his latest video “New Level” which has a cool futuristic Star Trek theme and he also shared his goals for his music and his passions.

I am a world traveler, so my music reflects my experiences and takes you around the world dealing with
What inspired you to pursue music?
I love music and I love to write. I actually started playing instruments as a youth.
Greatest career accomplishment so far?
Putting my project “The Myth” out has been my greatest accomplishment. I took a huge step out on faith.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Patience and consistency are my challenges. I have to keep moving forward until I reach the success in music that I want. I don’t know when
What is your music goal for the year?
For one my tracks to make it to the Billboard charts!
