WildFlowerHas there ever been a moment in your life when you felt hopeless and about to give up when suddenly you received a helping hand or a sign that everything is going to be okay? Wildflower

Growing up in a small town where everyone knows each other, Chloe has managed to stay under the radar her whole life. Having suffered a traumatic childhood that she’s blocked from memory, she finds solace as an art student at the local college. She mostly stays to herself having moved out of her mother’s home. Her minimal interaction is with her best friend, Rebecca, who seems to be the only person that understands Chloe.

On the other side of town is Josh. He’s experienced a tragic loss and has lost faith and is questioning his purposes in serving and doing what is deemed in everyone’s as good and admirable deeds when those selfless deeds have led to his current state of pain and heartache.

Josh (Cody Longo) and Chloe’s path meet one fateful night on the town’s bridge after Chloe experiences yet another terrifying dream that seems to recur and get worse night after night causing blackouts. Chloe starts to believe that the dreams might be a suppressed memory and that she may be connected to the strange disappearance of a teenage girl twelve years earlier.

WILDFLOWER is a powerful reminder that hope can be found even in the darkest, loneliest moments. It’s a great reminder that what is kept in the dark eventually comes to light. This movie is about connecting with faith, facing fears, forgiving others and yourself and healing. It also serves as a reminder of the Importance of staying connected and involved in the lives of your kids.

I really enjoyed the movie. The content was pretty deep so, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that young children watch but, it is a good movie for teenagers to watch and discuss. Some of the scenes and acting are pretty sitcom cheesy with Chloe’s best friend, Rebecca, which makes sense because the actress, Alex Steele was on the television show “Degrasse” but, Nathalie Ramos plays the Chloe character very well. I felt her pain and her ultimate peace.
