How workout wear feels on your body is so important, especially when you’re in motion. You want it to fit almost like a second layer of skin.
During the pandemic, a lot of us were home and most of us were unable to workout with the gyms being closed and everyone sheltering at home and social distancing. As a result I gained a bit of wait. At least 20 pounds.
With easier whether coming to the East Coast, I was excited to receive gear form V-Shred to try out with my set workout schedule (which turned out not be as “SET” as I was determined to make it).
Anyway, I received the SEAMLESS FLEX SPORTS BRA, the WEIGHTLESS JACKET, and the SEAMLESS FLEX LEGGINGS from V SHRED. I got them all in Large and the color grey which is my go-to workout gear color for some odd reason.
I’ll review each separately but, I do want to say that over all the material is so soft and feels so comfortable and breathable. I felt cool indoors and warm running outside in the cold weather (which I will talk about in more detail with the review of the WEIGHTLESS JACKET. There are no seams that pinch your skin. Those of us who buy athletic gear know what I’m talking about. A lot of the gear has such thick seams that they rub against your sweaty skin and irritate. I’ve experienced this with inexpensive gear and with pricey gear. It’s all in the tailoring. These are seamless which I really what makes them so comfy.
SEAMLESS FLEX SPORTS BRA – $35
The sports bra fits perfectly. As I mentioned it’s a large and is comfortable. Not too loose and not too tight. It’s easy to move around in and keeps the sweat at bay.
SEAMLESS FLEX LEGGING – $65
The leggings fit really nice. Again, you really can’t beat the feeling of no seams. I think given the weight I gained from the pandemic in my stomach area, I should have probably gone with an XL because they did slide down as I was running. The company offered to send a different size, but I’d rather just lose the weight. They are very comfortable and as I said, the lack of a seam is pretty much the best part. I do wish they had a pocket for my phone.
WEIGHTLESS JACKET – $95
If you’re thinking of getting a jacket to run in then I highly recommend this weightless jacket. I absolutely love it. I ran in the coldest weather and was a little bit nervous going out with this jacket because it is so thin. Usually, I wear a super bulky sweatshirt. I also have a thin running jacket from brand name sports company that was incredibly expensive and not as thin as this one, so I was nervous. It was perfect. I felt comfortable and didn’t feel bogged down by a heavy sweatshirt or heavy material that’s meant to “appear” thin as opposed to being and feeling thin. I really do love this jacket so much. I got the large and it fits perfect.
MY FINAL THOUGHTS
The company is great. They’re very responsive. The material and quality of the clothing is worth the price especially the breathability. I’ve run in cold weather and in warm weather wearing the gear and was comfortable every time.
One last thing I’d like to mention, the VShred website takes Affirm for payment. What is Affirm? It’s a company that extends you a credit for the purchase amount and then breaks the payment down into 4 small payments every 2 weeks. This makes it easier for those of us on a budget to purchase a few sets without the immediate expense.
