My journey towards a fit and healthier lifestyle has had some bumps in the road. I get lazy when it comes to fitness. Once I get in the groove, I’m in it but, a few days off and I struggle to get back in the mode.

Another struggle is what to eat. I’m not a bad eater but, sometimes I feel like I don’t know WHAT to eat. When I work out in the morning I’m starving at the end of it so, then I get greedy and buy a bacon, egg and cheese which is pretty counter-productive to the workout I just completed.

My trainer suggested that I start my mornings with a protein shake so, by the time my workout is over I’ll be ready for a meal but, I won’t be starving.
I kept that in the back of my mind when I set out to start my workouts again. I received this Reach Whey Protein Powder and was pretty curioius to see if it would be what I needed.
The first thing I can say is that it tastes very delicious. I’ve tried powdered drinks and they tend to taste chalky and powdery. I use fat free milk. I tried it with water and it was a little to well, watery. The milk gives it a nice creamy thick consistency that makes me feel full and satisfied.
You can watch the video of me mixing and drinking the shake and sharing my thoughts:

Reach Whey Protein Powder comes in Chocolate, Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, Cappuccino and Strawberry. I got the chocolate flavor because generally when I get protein shakes that’s the only one that tastes half decent but, I may have to try the Cookies and Cream.
The container  is about $33 on amazon and you get 14 servings so that comes to $2.35 a drink which is a lot cheaper than the protein shakes out here in the health stores or even in the gyms.
