#HolidayGiftGuide: Runphones – Headband/Headphones for Fitness & Exercise ($5 off)

When I’m running there are two minor peeves that I have. 1) My headphones falling out of my ears  2) sweat running down my face.

I usually carry a little towel with me to pull out and dry my face though it’s easier to do when I’m running on a treadmill versus outdoors.

As far as the headphones, a lot of times I just do without music which sucks. I know there are specialized headphones that are supposed to do the trick but I’m on a budget over here so, those will have to wait.

I received a pair of these Runphones which are supposed to do the trick. I’m not a fan of headbands, not because I don’t want to look like Lebron James, but because a lot of times they feel too tight and I get a headache.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tested them out anyway and I’m glad I did.
The headband doesn’t fit tight at all. It’s just right and soft and catch the sweat that drips down so it doesn’t get in my eyes.

The earphones inside are perfect. I don’t have to worry about them falling out or off. I can finally jam to my hip hop while I run without losing a beat. The  sound is great. I can hear the music clearly but, it’s not so loud that I’m not aware of what’s going on around me.

Oh and you would think that the way they’re constructed that other people would be able to hear your music, Nope. Well, unless you blare it at unnecessary decibels and if that’s the case you are one of my other peeves, lol.

The best thing is I can run outside in the cold and this bad boy keeps my ears warm.

This is a great gift for runners. I love it. The headband is machine washable. It folds neatly away and it’s pretty much a two in one piece. They’re available in various colors and you can purchase a wired or wireless set. Runphones start at $39.95 and are available exclusively at runphones.com
