Interview w/Hip Hop Artist Dash Flash

Describe your music for those who have never heard it.

I’m just making music from my experiences . Staying true to myself and trusting my past struggles.
Tell us about the song “Bad News”.
“Bad News” was a song where I had to let out some anger . So that I could begin making music on the positive stuff .
What inspired you to pursue music?
Ever since I was four years old and watched Tupac perform on TV . Ever since then all I ever wanted to do was rap .
What has been your greatest career accomplishment so far?
I would my greatest accomplishment was opening up for Papoose back in April 18th . Big moves on the way though .

What has been your biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge has been my time . Since I’ve been in the Air Force for three years and it’s been difficult to dedicate 100% of my time to the music . I will get out soon though and big things will happen.
Who is your favorite artist?
My favorite artist is Nas . That’s always going to be my favorite rapper of all time . When I was 15 years old in high school everyone was bumpin’ Soulja Boy and I was listening to Nas .
What’s your career goal for the upcoming year?
My career goal this year is to get out of the Air Force so that I could dedicate my full time to this music . A lot of people are waiting on me.
