Beauty Corner: Are Nail Cones Helpful For At Home Manicures? (Review)

I received an interesting little product to try out recently called ‘Nail Cones’. They are stickers with ice cream cones on them that are meant to be placed around the nail to make it easier and less messy to paint your nails.
The actual picture of the ice cream cone is just a cute little added touch.

Each package has 60 stickers for 6 separate manicures so you can use them through time or throw a little manicure party. They come in 3 different sizes to accommodate smaller or larger fingers.
I had my daughter test them out because she has beautiful nails and is changing the colors on them almost daily.
The directions are fairly simple:
Wash and dry hands
Apply nail cones tightly under nail
Polish nails and allow time to dry
Remove nail cones slowly
This is what my daughter’s hand looked like after she put the Nail Cones on and polished her nails:

What did we think?
Ultimately, it’s a really cute concept that I think should be geared towards little girls and pre-teens to help them learn to polish theirnails.
My daughter felt that it was easier to polish her nails without them on. They didn’t really help the process and only delayed it.
But, for someone just learning to polish their nails it would really work. Though, they do seem like they’d be a little too big for smaller children.
You really can’t go wrong to use these for a slumber party or as a gift bag souvenir, stocking stuffer.
I’ll be keeping an eye out to see how which direction they go and if they add stickers with other pictures on them.
You can purchase Nail Cones on their site for just $5.99 a pack.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using . Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
