It looks like the music industry is about to set it off with good music just in time for the summer.

Michael Jackson’s posthumous album “Xscape” has been teased to fans for a quite some time. It’s due out on May 27th and all this week we’ll get snippets of each new single from Sony as follows:
5/5 Monday – “Chicago”
5/6 Tuesday – “Loving You”
5/7 Wednesday – “A Place With No Name”
5/8 Thursday – “Slave To the Rhythm”
5/9 Friday – “Do You Know Where Your Children are
But, for now, here’s a taste of the single “Chicago” which was known as “She’s Lovin’ Me” and was cut from his “Invincible” album. What do you think?

I have to put Usher in this post too since he’s giving us some new music with a song called “Good Kisser”.

Is Usher trying to take it to his Haitian roots with this Caribbean sound? I think I like it.

And of course, there’s always a rhyme and a reason to my posts. Usher infamously did a tribute to MJ at his funeral and it’s well known that Michael was a huge mentor and inspiration for Usher and helped mold his style.

On May 1st Usher once again paid tribute to MJ at the iHeartRadio Music Awards with the first single from Michael’s upcoming Xscape album  called “Love Never Felt So Good” which  was originally recorded in 1983. This version is a duet with Justin Timberlake.

The song has a dated MJ feel to it in a good way and was recorded and released by Johnny Mathis in 1984 and he killed it. I actually remember it as a disco song. Can someone let me know who did the disco version which was really popular?

Anyway, check out the performance and the song.
