I am going to show my sons that honest whole-hearted hard work pays off

Who is your favorite artist?
Commercially, Mila J. She gives me that carefree and uplifted feeling when I’m engulfed in her sounds.

On the underground scene, definitely my little homie Calvin “ConSCious” Reed Jr.(Mullins, SC). Take a listen to his “Mental Illness” project and then you will understand why.

He is so humble and full of talent. The only way we can go is up! I’m looking forward to historic heights with ConSCious.
Describe your music for someone who hasn’t heard it before.
Lounging and honest music, simply. They are great tunes to put on and unwind.

What inspired you to pursue music?
I was presented with an opportunity to contribute to an artist’s promotion and management. There wasn’t any looking back after that.

What is your greatest career accomplishment to date?
My greatest career accomplishment so far has to be being blessed enough to work with and form a friendship with Emmy award winning, audio engineer and producer, Ted Etheridge (Music BoxStudio)on our first project, The KAPTape- The Restoration.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Pacing myself and time management. There just isn’t enough hours in a day. There isn’t anything that we can’t overcome as an unit.

What are your music career goals?
My goal is to one day operate and own a recording studio. I aim to seek out disenfranchised youth and talents, provide them an outlet to do something positive at reasonable rates, if at any expense other than time.

Once financially secure, invest back into different communities. I’d start in my own neighborhoods, funding an assortment of educationally and vocationally sound programs for those who need that guidance and support.

I am going to show my sons that honest whole-hearted hard work pays off, and we must live selflessly in order to have an authentic and fruitful life.

It is what we were born to do, love one another.
