Kids Corner: 3D Animated Series “Purple and Nine -The Show For Smart Girls” Launches {Pilot Video}

Psst….come here. Yeah you. Let me put you onto a brand new cartoon series that I know you’ll like and you can thank me later.

I’m always looking for cool new things to share with you guys so when I got hooked on the pilot of the cartoon series “Purple and Nine”, I had to write about it and let you in on the fun.

Purple and Nine is a show about two girls who just want to solve their everyday problems. They try different solutions to do things like fix things around the house, keep themselves awake in class, help friends overseas, and babysit their twin brothers.

Gangly Sisters Rebecca Rachmany and Miriam Lottner, launched the pilot of their first 3D animated series, Purple and Nine, as a web series on YouTube, in January. The cartoon series is targeted towards children aged 8–12 and portrays characters that are the kind of people you’d want your child to hang out with say Rachmany and Lottner.

We portray technology the way it really is,” says Lottner. “It’s just a device I’m using to make my life better. It’s not an algorithm or a chemical reaction. Girls this age are concerned not just about their neighborhood, but about global warming, animal rights and human rights.”

This episode deals with a 3D printer. I must admit, though I’ve heard and read the term “3D Printer” all over the place, I still have no clue what it actually does or its purpose.
Check out the show and tell me if you enjoyed it as much as I did. Also, if you love it, they’re doing a funding campaign on Indigogo which I think is a worthwhile investment. Enjoy!
