Kids Corner: Missy Mila Twisted Tales Volume One {Review + Giveaway}

Missy Mila is a rambunctious 8 year old cartoon girl who tells stories in her own twisted fun way.

She’s an adorable little character that interacts with the viewing audience by talking directly to them and even fiddling around at the screen. Just before the first story in “Missy Mila Twisted Tales – Volume One” Mila taps on the television screen to get our attention and at one point even wipes it down.

The Missy Mila cartoons are brought to us by Organa, a French company that has been introducing American families to characters and cultures from around the world since 1995.

Missy Mila  Twisted Tales Volume One comes with 13 episodes of stories and classic tales told from Mila’s perspective. It runs for 101 minutes.

She has a lovely French accent and is very silly and full of energy. The cartoon is geared for children ages 5 – 8 and they will love it. I found myself drawn into the stories and laughing at all the silliness.

In the first story, “The Hidden Princess”, the prince looks a bit like superman with his chiseled features and a cape. He even makes sure to add a dab of gel to his curl so it’s just right before he set off to win the Princesses hand in marriage.

There’s one episode on the DVD called Elvis and while it deals with music it’s not exactly about the blue eyed crooner but incredibly entertaining and pretty hysterical. When you watch it see if you can guess what classic tale is being recreated.

Your kid will love Missy Mila and you will too. Check out the Organa site to purchase Volume One & Volume Two.

And just because it’s what we like to do here and thanks to Organa, we are going to give a lucky reader their own copy of “Missy Mila Twisted Tales – Volume One”.

*Please note that the prize will be shipped directly from Organa to the winner.
